GEHS Trained National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) staff on General Health, Safety and Environment

 

GEHS recently concluded training on General Health, Safety and Environment for staff of National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

 

The training was held on 11th- 14th August, 2015 at the GEHS Learning Arena.

 The topics covered inter-alia included:

 

HSE related Policies and Regulations, Hazard Identification, Evaluation & Management Including Job Hazard Analysis, Incidents – Causation, Investigation and Reporting, Hazard Communication, Fire Safety: Prevention & Protection Including Practical Demonstration, Emergency Planning and Response, Electrical Safety, Life Saving Measures/First Aid, Safe Driving Techniques, Environmental Management & Safe Housekeeping, Office Ergonomics Including Manual Handling and Lifting Techniques, Common Occupational Hazards and their Health Effects, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) & Life Saving Devices, HSE Statistics & Data Management, HSE Management System.
